Join us Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 1-7 p.m. at the World’s Fair Park in Knoxville for the 12th Knoxville Brewers’ Jam, celebrating great handmade American craft beer, music, and food.

As the Jam has grown in popularity, its crowds have grown as well. This year ticket sales will be limited in an effort to make the event even more enjoyable for the brewers and Jam attendees. We are hoping this will give everyone a bit more elbow room and less time in bathroom and beer lines!!!

BOTTOM LINE IS… DON’T PANIC AND GET YOUR JAM TICKETS EARLY so that you can join us on October 11th.

And yes, we know that UT plays Georgia (at Georgia) that weekend. If the game falls during festival time, bring your headset and cheer on the Vols with us!

The festival, brought to you by and benefiting Community Shares of Tennessee, is held during the glorious East Tennessee autumn in the jewel-like setting of the World's Fair Park South Performance Lawn. You'll enjoy unlimited samples from over 30 brewers pouring fresh beers of every taste, color, strength, and style.

What a great time we had at the Jam in 2007! It was our biggest crowd ever with about 5,000 beer drinkin' folks and 42 unique brewers and distributors 'on tap''. We once again lucked up on a beautiful fall day and our great music line up kept festival goers hoppin'.

Last year we sold out of our Jam Packages a month before the festival so, don't wait 'til it's too late!!

NOTE: Tickets are available through Community Shares office through 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) October, 10th. Please do not call after this time.

Online ticket purchase price will be $35 after 10:00 p.m. on October 10th. Online sales end at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday, October 11th.

You may purchase tickets at the gate for $35 (there is a $1.25 charge for credit card processing).

If you have any trouble purchasing tickets online please call ETIX customer support @ 1-800-514-3849 and press Option 2.

NOTE: If you purchase your tickets online, you will receive a printable ticket which you must bring with you to get in. Your ticket, proof of identity and valid ID are required.

Your ride to the jam…

This year, the Community Shares' Knoxville Brewer' Jam is partnering with Green Car Shuttle Service. This 100% hybrid and bio-fueled shuttle will run shuttles every 30 minutes from the Aubrey's parking lot (Landmark Center) at I-40 and Papermill Road beginning at 11:30 a.m. and will run until the last rider is shuttled back from the festival site. And… it's absolutely free!!!

You can also catch a Green Car Cab at the festival site and receive 50% off metered cabfare.
